Initial Situation
Sitasys was looking for a partner who could completely redesign the existing fingerprint app to adapt it to current technological standards. The new solution should be able to accommodate individual workflows and provide enough flexibility to easily incorporate future processes and requirements.
What we did
We developed a powerful, user-friendly app that seamlessly communicates with a mobile scanner to securely and reliably capture fingerprints. It was important for the app to catch errors immediately and guide the user through the workflows. For example, the app detects multiple scan attempts or quality criteria not met and responds with intelligent reset mechanisms or retries to ensure stable and error-free usage.
Result
We created a flexible, configurable solution that allows cantonal police forces to determine which workflows and quality criteria are relevant for them. It was also important for the connection to the mobile scanner to have as few connection issues as possible and to guide the user intuitively through hints.
