For the precise production of windows, an exact on-site measurement is crucial. Previously, this process at Quadra Ligna was time-consuming and required two employees. With the use of a new, innovative mobile app, the measurement can now be efficiently and reliably carried out by a single person.
User-friendliness in focus
The app was originally developed as a prototype of a university project and is now being optimized and further developed by us. We have placed particular emphasis on user-friendliness and redesigned the user interface to be new and simple. Additionally, we have added useful features such as validations, automatic calculations, and automatic saving of input values. This has made the daily work of Quadra Ligna employees easier and saved a lot of time on recurring tasks.
Data availability
The availability of data in structured form is also of great importance for Quadra Ligna. The window measurement data is needed for quotes, glass orders, renovations, and the robot, and is therefore stored in the Google Cloud. Through the app, the data can be downloaded in the desired file format, contributing to the improvement of data timeliness and reducing manual processes.
